KEENAGER CHOIR

Things are going well for our choir, except for the illness of some of our men. We miss you, Virgil and Leavie, and hope you will be back with us soon. Maybe some of our Terry Parker men would like to come join us. Ladies, too are always welcome!

We will be singing for you in church on March 7. Let's hope for a beautiful day that Sunday so everyone will feel like coming out to worship our Lord that day.

March will "come in like a lamb, rather than a lion. " We are all ready for Spring!

Craft Class

Our Craft Class is taking a break this week and going out to Ruby Tuesday for lunch. The class was happy to have a visitor for the past four weeks. She was Lorraine Robinson from West Virginia. Sara Rogers is in Rehab in Winter Park. We miss you, Sara, our love and prayers are with you. Hurry home! Bring your crafts and come join us, you might be surprised what a good time we have.

The Model Prayer

The importance of prayer is revealed in God's word. So important, that he provided us with the model prayer in five verses 9-13 quoted below. He wanted His people to be prepared to pray.

The prayer has the basic elements, 1- recognition, 2- partition, and 3- praise. Verses nine and ten recognize God and His kingdom; in verses eleven, twelve and the first two stanzas of verse thirteen He provided us with the format for us to voice our partitions and the last stanza gives praise to His kingdom. So, contribute this model prayer to memory and always be ready to voice a word of prayer to the Lord.

Matthew 6 (New King James Version)

9. Our Father in heaven, Hallowed by Your name.
10. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
11. Give us this day-our daily bread.
12. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
13. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen
14. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15. But if you de-not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Read and study verses 14 and 15 for the significant relationship to verse 12.
